The Village of Wellington, incorporated in 1995, is home to a unique blend of lifestyles - working families, "empty nesters," retirees, world-class equestrians, small plane pilots, and more. Originally marketed as "privileged living," the upscale planned community actually offers neighborhoods in all price ranges - from townhouses to villas to custom estate homes adjacent to golf courses, polo fields and, in the case of the Aero Club, a private air strip. Education and recreation are themes central to Wellington featuring "A" rated schools of which include 2 pubic high schools, 3 public middle schools, 6 public elementary schools as well as numerous private schools and pre-kindergarten programs. The Village offers a vast array of area festivals and events, community centers and 24 neighborhood parks which include a state of the art gymnasium, aquatics complex, as well as fields for every activity imaginable. With shopping, restaurants and hospitals nearby there is something for everyone in Wellington.
